José Tomás, We have no immediate plans to migrate to 3.x, although some work was done a while back.
Getting the browser binding finished is probably the first priority, but 3.x support is a close second. If you would like to take either of those on it would be a welcome contribution. The cmislib sub-project is starved for attention/resources.
