alberto coletti commented on CMIS-742:
--------------------------------------

Hi,
I think lack of support for "aspects" is a major problem of CMS1.0 after more
then 1 year from introduction of secondary types and thus complete support of
CMIS 1.1 should be considered a critical upgrade.
Thanks

> I am using NemakiWare (a NoSQL CMIS 1.1 server) and DotCMIS can't connect to
> it, because DotCMIS only supports CMIS 1.0.
> Note: CMIS 1.1 has been approved as an OASIS specification on November 12,
> 2012.

> [PARTIAL PATCH]
> 1) Open the DotCMIS project
> 2) In "Service References", select the CMIS service reference, and
> right-click "Configure Service Reference..."
> 2) In "Address", paste:
> 2) Click "OK", wait for the download to complete
> 3) Rebuild the whole project
> 4) DotCMIS should now be able to handle CMIS 1.1 servers, as far as my
> testing went, using the Web Service endpoint (not AtomPub)
> Even if all CMIS 1.1 features are not accessible, at least it would be nice
> to be able to connect and perform CMIS 1.0-level operations.
