It is time to pass the baton on, and on behalf of the Apache Cassandra Project Management Committee (PMC) I would like to welcome and congratulate our next PMC Chair Josh McKenzie (jmckenzie).
Most of you already know Josh, especially through his regular and valuable project oversight and status emails, always presenting a balance and understanding to the various views and concerns incoming. Repeating Paulo's words from last year: The chair is an administrative position that interfaces with the Apache Software Foundation Board, by submitting regular reports about project status and health.
