Ahoy. Here’s a look at Cassandra 4.0 release status for the week. Seven days since last update.
Jira board with 4.0 scope: https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=355&quickFilter=1661 High level numbers by release phase: Beta: 2 (+1); two recently-introduced flaws arose; Both in review now, one with +1 and good CI RC: 38 (+1); 28 in-flight; lots of good activity here -- half of the previously stalled tickets have had activity in the last week. Top-level metrics: Total tickets in 4.0: 1608 (+16) Remaining tickets represent 2.5% of total scope Created vs. resolved trended solidly positive on this interval. Where you can help: * We’re within line-of-sight to closing out beta scope. Any reviews on the patches in-flight will nudge the project toward RC. * There’s always more to do investigating and stabilizing tests.
