Chris, Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't realize that you could define additional initContainers when using cass-operator. I wish it had been discussed in the documentation when I was evaluating it, because I confess, I didn't notice podTemplateSpec. Which is too bad...it's really powerful!
But, you're right. Anything I can do with CassKop's pre_run.sh script (or with its bootstrap container), I would also be able to do in an additional init container.
