Hey folks, Nate mentioned on this thread [1] the possibility of co-locating NGCC with ApacheCon@Home but there was no subsequent update on this. Has there been any definition on this ?
I think NGCC could be a good opportunity to gather the development community to discuss blockers and remaining work to release 4.0 and perhaps start discussing how to improve our development/release process post-4.0. I have some free cycles in the coming weeks and if there's interest from the community I would be happy to help coordinate/facilitate this. ApacheCon tracks are from Sep 29 to Oct 1, maybe we could do NGCC after ApacheCon on Oct 2 (Friday)? If folks think this is too soon, maybe we could move it to later in the year but I think it would be nice to have NGCC this year as we approach the end of the 4.0 release. Below are some potential topics that could be interesting to discuss: - 4.0 what is left, release timeline estimation, how people can help stabilization, etc.. - Post-4.0 development/release process - Lightning talks: CEP, Kubernetes-SIG, etc.. - 5.0 tentative roadmap Please let me know your thoughts on this.
