Hi Chris, I skimmed through your proposal and it looks interesting. We can definitely discuss this but at the moment we’re iterating on releasing 4.0 so your proposal may not get a whole lot of traction. We also have a new process to propose largish changes like you suggested called CEP (Cassandra Enhancement Process). You don’t have to formally write up a doc if you’re looking to just bounce ideas off of folks in the mailing list. Just making you aware in case you didn’t know.
