A "Cassandra by Example" approach helps... * Highlight popular or unique use cases showcasing strengths (and weaknesses) of Cassandra. * Gives practical examples on how to use Cassandra * Fosters critical thinking that can lead to innovative ideas and potentially more community engagement. * Can be used to showcase new or not well known features.
I like your initial ideas, because they could also highlight common tasks like. * Successful use of denormalization * Resiliency design patterns * Use case based tuning (I know of some good blogs on tuning things like GC and compression) Good ideas!
