Dear C* contributors,

At the Technical University of Munich, we are currently conducting an
exploratory case study research, analyzing the influence of uncertainty in
architectural decision making (https://wwwmatthes.in.tum.de/pages/8j8x0narg5pw).
In the scope of our research we analyze tasks (issues) of different projects in
the issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira) by checking them for the cases of
uncertainty in the communication, and then conduct interviews with the project
contributors in order to find out how this uncertainty is perceived by them and
their colleagues.

Last week we had an amazing interview with one of the C* contributors - Alex
Petrov (@Alex, many-many thanks!), and now we would be really grateful if
anyone else from the C* would support us in our research by participating in
our 1-hour interview via any preferred conference tool (e.g. Skype, Hangouts,
...) and at any suitable for you time.

The interview would consist of three main parts:
1. General questions (your role in the project, years of professional
experience etc.);
2. Questions regarding communication practices in Jira;
3. Analysis of given specific Jira issue(s) from Apache Cassandra project.

Obviously, all participants, as well as the name of the project, will be
anonymized during the analysis of the interview. Pre-submission version will be
shared with the interview participants with the right to withdraw any of their
own statements as well as to oppose our interpretation.

In case you are willing to participate, please email us at
klym.shuma...@tum.de<mailto:klym.shuma...@tum.de>.
Please, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,
Klym
