I've added the cassandra-2.2 branch. This means: When you commit a change to 2.0 you must merge:
*cassandra-2.0 -> cassandra-2.1 -> cassandra-2.2 -> trunk* or for 2.1 change *cassandra-2.1 -> cassandra-2.2 -> trunk* I've also closed #8168 so trunk will not compile with java 7. This means you should either switch to java 8 now or better add support for switching between java versions on the fly. For Linux you can add the following to your profile (assuming you installed the oracle java package): alias use-java7="sudo update-java-alternatives -s java-7-oracle" alias use-java8="sudo update-java-alternatives -s java-8-oracle" For OSX see http://andrew-jones.com/blog/managing-multiple-versions-of-java-on-os-x/ For Windows see https://coderwall.com/p/gbek2g/java-6-and-java-7-on-windows Happy coding.
