This was deliberate. I fully intend to deprecate loadSchemaFromXML in 0.7+1 and remove it completely in 0.7+2. Hopefully by then the tool support (provided by high-level clients) will be such that updating the schema using thrift is a no-brainer. Gary. > > Thanks > Ted > >
