Thanks, Rick. I would be interested in joining.
Adding Tyler, Kenn, Fabian to CC. They were (with Edmon) my co-authors of the
SIGMOD paper and are adding streaming SQL extensions to Apache Beam and Flink
based on Calcite.

The ANSI/INCITS SQL committee has wrapped up its survey of streaming engines
and their SQL dialects. During this effort, Edmon Begoli represented the
perspective of the Apache Calcite communities.
Now the committee has appointed an ad hoc sub-group to discuss the desirability
of adding streaming extensions to the SQL Standard. Hopefully, this sub-group
can converge on an approach which satisfies everyone. Anyone can participate in
this stage of the process. For the next several months, on the first and third
Wednesdays of each month, the sub-group will meet by teleconference between
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm San Francisco time.
Your participation is warmly welcomed. If you are interested, please add
yourself to the ad hoc sub-group by visiting the following web page:

week, I will email detailed meeting coordinates to everyone who has signed up.
I look forward to meeting many of you via teleconference next week.
