Here is my Github address: https://github.com/wwbmmm I first used brpc in 2017 (At that time it was called 'baidu-rpc' and has not been opensource yet) to build a high performance PHP RPC framework. I found several bugs in bthread and fixed them, that was the first time I contributed to brpc. After Dec 2018, I began to maintain the brpc branch in Baidu. Since brpc is innersource inside Baidu, I receive PRs from many developers in Baidu. I reviewed these PRs and merged when the PR matched the quality standard. I also help Baidu developers to solve the problem they meet when using brpc. After July 2020, I transferred to the microservice team. I built a small team for brpc, with Liu Shuai(github id: serverglen), Yang Shuaijie(github id: KaneVV1) and Hu Xiguo(github id: Huixxi) . We make brpc to support Service Mesh, including Proxy mode and Proxyless mode. We developed some new features to brpc (such as IPV6/UDS support, multi dimension bvar), and fixed some bugs. Some of the new features and bug fixes have been submitted to github brpc as PR, part of them merged. Here are some of my contribution: * Support IPV6 and Unix domain socket * Fix Socket::WaitAndReset memory leak * Update license header to Apache See https://github.com/apache/incubator-brpc/pulls?q=author%3Awwbmmm for details. Brpc is an excellent project, I have learned so much from it. I am glad to have a chance to apply to become a committer. I will do my best to contribute to the community, including developing features, bug fixes, solving issues, and roadmap discussions. Best Regards. Wang Weibing (wwb...@gmail.com<mailto:wwb...@gmail.com>)
