Hi everyone,

Today I found out the DistributedLog docs is no more available at:
https://bookkeeper.apache.org/distributedlog/docs/latest/user_guide/api/core

I created this issue: https://github.com/apache/bookkeeper/issues/3233
I think the root cause is due to when we switched to the ASF infra
deployment system. Actually I expected a directory named "distributedlog"
here
https://github.com/apache/bookkeeper/tree/b4cc2f52e1c5d7e1e5c91dda44fdbf9d61330411/content
(this is before the new website work) but it is not there. I guess it was
deployed manually and handled in the old travis project because the docs
files are in the old DL repository
https://github.com/apache/distributedlog/tree/master/website.

I think the best long-term solution is to move the docs to the BK repo and
convert it in the new format (I still have some scripts locally to cleanup
the .md files)

Eventually we could build the website locally (hopefully it will build) and
push the rendered content to the asf-site branch. This is the quick and
dirty solution and perhaps the best one in order to restore the website in
less time.

WDYT?

Nicolò Boschi
