Hello Xiaolong, I am currently trying to pack 4.10 but we have a few CI issues. I have already prepared release notes and all the stuff we need to perform a release.
We have a very few pull requests to merge, and I am waiting for CI to be stable enough to commit all of them. I hope we can target next week for the first 4.10 release candidate. You could test current master of BookKeeper against Pulsar and see if it works for you. I would prefer to spend my (limited) energies in releasing 4.10, I would understand if you prefer a release of 4.9 branch, in that case I ask for others committers to chime in.
