[~tsveg1] Thanks for the clarification.
Apart from authentication, IMHO there needs to be an ability for client and
server to specify cipher list for encryption. Cipher list could be a
configuration entry on both client and server and used in negotiation during
TLS handshake. This will be needed in rolling upgrades where preferred cipher
can change over time.
