Hey everyone, I've put together a brief doc and a prototype PR for multimodal embedding support in Beam Python. The design doc is at https://s.apache.org/beam-multimodal-embeddings and the PR is at https://github.com/apache/beam/pull/35677. The initial implementation and example is focused on Vertex AI, but the pattern should be relatively consistent across different models and services.
