Something I’d love to discuss is the cadence and the automation of the release process. We disabled it to comply with the apache guidelines when entering the incubator. These guidelines recently got updated and it is now possible to sign the artifacts with the CI [2] and with a key dedicated to signing [3]. Another point is the publication of artifacts on the maven repository. The current release process does not include this step [4], and it would be great to do it.
