Hello everyone, Hope you're doing well! I wanted to remind you all that the Joint OGC/OSGeo/ASF code sprint is just around the corner, taking place at Camptocamp near Lausanne from April 25-27, 2023. Martin, Andrea, and I have already confirmed our attendance, and I'm looking forward to meet some of you in person there. https://www.osgeo.org/events/2023-open-standards-and-open-source-software-code-sprint/ <https://www.osgeo.org/events/2023-open-standards-and-open-source-software-code-sprint/>
To make the most of our time, it would be great if we could focus on one or two topics during the sprint. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what we should prioritize. Here are a few ideas: - Establishing a good roadmap for Apache Baremaps. - Improving our implementation of OGC API. Although our current implementation isn't being maintained, I think we're close to having a robust solution. - Working on data formats and GeoAPI (shapefile, geopackage, flatgeobuf, etc.). Apache Baremaps uses custom solutions that may eventually move to Apache SIS. - Working on support for 3D tiles based on Antoine's work. - And more! Let me know your thoughts on these ideas, or if you have any other topics you'd like to suggest. Looking forward to a fun code sprint! ;) Best, Bertil
