Hi everyone, As some of you might know, there has been a longstanding weekly meeting for the AsterixDB community every Friday at 10AM Pacific time. It has always been open but not widely advertised. In the spirit of openness, it is time to change that. The meeting is nominally 1 hour long, but frequently around 15 minutes. The first part of it is dedicated solely to the Apache side of things, such as releases, triaging issues, APE status, and so on. The second part is the remaining status that is related to the academic uses of AsterixDB, which again will be open, but separate so that those only interested in the Apache side of things won't necessarily have to attend it to ask questions or discuss with the community in real time.
The meeting is held on Zoom in https://uci.zoom.us/j/98725924083 at 10AM Pacific time. The meeting password is the name of the project in lower case, minus the DB part, plus 'rox'. Hope to see you all there. -Ian
