One minor thing I did notice was it seems https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/9486 made it into the release (yay!) but I missed this initially since it wasn't listed in the changelog. I do hope to look into https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/issues/9332 soon, which might help with things like this.
