+1 (binding) I tested on Ubuntu 24.04 with go 1.24.4.
I did have some issues with some tests because the verification script was downloading a release candidate version of go (1.25rc1). I've opened an issue to fix our Verification script to avoid downloading release candidates as latest_go [1].
