As mentioned in [5], this release contains a small change to the version dependencies to fix downstream build breakages due to an incompatibility with another create. Given the small change and the downstream impact, we plan to release this as soon as we reach the voting threshold. ---- I would like to propose a release of Apache Arrow Rust Implementation, version 54.2.1.
