+1 (binding)

I ran the followings on Debian GNU/Linux sid:

  dev/release/verify_rc.sh 18.2.0 5

with:

  * openjdk version "21.0.6-ea" 2025-01-21

I also verified signature and checksums of binary artifacts
manually:

  GH_TOKEN=... gh release download --repo apache/arrow-java v18.2.0-rc5
  for x in *.asc; do gpg --verify $x ${x:s/.asc/}; done
  sed -i'' -e 's,/home/runner/work/arrow-java/arrow-java/binaries/,,' *.sha*
  for x in *.sha256; do sha256sum -c $x; done
  for x in *.sha512; do sha512sum -c $x; done

(JNI and .jar aren't checked.)
