Thanks for the reply Antoine. Admittedly, not the good news part of me wanted to hear, but aligned with what I expected. Just wanted to confirm with the community.

It seems the limiting factor isn't how many systems we can tests, but how much developer time can we afford to spend on C++ environment issues. So we are best off focusing on the limited set of environments required by downstream packaging systems.
