Just a note that Hiveserver2 support is currently broken in Arrow C++, and it may have been for a long time (attempting to compile it just doesn't work): https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-15774 Is there any interested party to work on fixing this? Otherwise, we may want to remove or deprecate this component. Regards Antoine.
