I'm concerned we're going to get blindsided again in 5 weeks -- 3
weeks have passed already since 0.12. We should probably write down an
accounting of what went wrong on this thread, and how we plan to avoid
each problem in the 0.13 release.

The nightly build times shouldn't be too much of an issue since we
(Krisztian and myself and others) are setting up a physical cluster
where we can run the nightlies. I don't know what is the plan yet for
creating transparency into the build status (a public dashboard of
some kind). I hope we have that resolved 5 weeks from now
