I just uploaded the Maven artifacts. I can send the release announcement to announce@ and dev@arrow tomorrow. I can also take some time to draft a "What's new in 0.8.0" posting tomorrow so that we can get the site updated and post that post, plus the Java refactor posting, on Tuesday morning, if that works
