Maarten, is this <http://ant.apache.org/ivy/history/latest-milestone/dev/makerelease.html> the guide you've been working from when you last cut a release? It looks as if Nicolas had already converted it to use git commands rather than svn. I'll be happy to proof-read the changes, but am pretty certain they are correct.
