After checking out the sources and running the ant eclipse-default target, I imported the project in eclipse. I got several compile errors in some of the test packages. After adding the ant-testutil.jar to the project's classpath, the compile time errors went away... I don't know if there is a specific reason for not adding the ant-testutil.jar to the project's classpath.
