We use MyEclipse 6.0 (based on Eclipse 3.3) and have a construct

<equals arg1="${servertype}" arg2="beanta"/>

<import file="build.${servertype}.xml"/>
<import file="build.init.xml"/>
and use the AntView - without any problems.
