I suppose there's no reason why that wouldn't work;
this seems in the end to be a matter of taste. 
Unfortunately, what seems intuitive to some may not be
so to others.  Personally the suggestion of nested
<mkdir> tasks doesn't do anything for me.  But maybe
another committer will have a different opinion.
