It could be caused by mixing ant versions (ant 1.7.0 or 1.6.5 and ant-trunk). I have not had time yet to check the ivy build, however I do notice a depency on ant 1.6.5 in the ivy.xml file https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ivy/core/trunk/ivy.xml
