http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42483 Summary: subant incorrectly complaining about circular references Product: Ant Version: 1.7.0 Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] It seems ant discovers circular references by looking at the location of build.xml and the target that is being called. What it doesn't take into account is the basedir. I have a generic script that invokes a target on dependent projects before calling it locally and I get the exception: " ... task calling a target that depends on its parent target ..." thrown from Ant.execute. I was actually able to workaround by creating and invoking a bogus script: <project name="bogus"> <import file="realscrpt.xml"/> </project> -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
