The full path is actually ant/src/main/org/apache/tools/ant/taskdefs/optional/depend/constantpool/InterfaceMethodRefCPInfo.java
which is 102 chars long so probably a tar limitation coming into play. Does your tar implementation support GNU extensions for long paths? I checked the ant_20070131174504.tar.gz snapshot and it is ok for me.
