Do the ASF have the possibility of holding the "release.apache.org" private? Maybe a VMware instance and the full-automated-release-build could also do the start/stop of that VMware instance which holds the running servers and libraries (included into the build by a) copying via ssh into the build environment or b) mounted into the build environment via Samba/NFS/???).
