What we should do is figure out how we are going to generate and upload POM files (Maven project descriptors) to http://www.apache.org/dist/java-repository/ant/jars. This possibly even in 2 flavors for Maven 1 and Maven 2 ??? On a related issue, we need to update ReleaseInstructions to take into account that we moved to svn.
