wontfix. Notice how they are called properties, not variables.

1. Is a core design feature which is designed to make it easy for calling ant
tasks and build.properties files to override aspects of nested tasks.

Lisp, scheme, ML, Prolog, XSL: all have immutable bindings, bindings that some
of the languages actually call "variables".
