http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=37533 Summary: minor issue with attrib task documentation Product: Ant Version: 1.6.5 Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Documentation AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] hi the doc for the attrib task says: By default this task will use a single invocation of the underlying attrib command. If you are working on a large number of files this may result in a command line that is too long for your operating system. If you encounter such problems, you should set the maxparallel attribute of this task to a non-zero value. The number to use highly depends on the length of your file names (the depth of your directory tree), so you'll have to experiment a little. the "maxparallel" attribute is not documented however with the chmod task, both a parallel and a maxparallel attribute are documented. I assume that both attributes are avail for attrib too, none is documented though -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
