I've had the need for such functionality for a number of projects now, so i made the task described (follow link for details). Do note that english is not my native language, and as such, naming and/or description can probably be improved upon. Also, i'm considering a "min", "max", "step" approach instead of "offset", "iterations", "interval as described in the task.
