http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33509 Summary: GET task: do not require "dest" argument Product: Ant Version: 1.6.2 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I've only ever used the GET task to hit a URL that does some action, and I couldn't care less about the output. (Eg. JSP precompilation, Tiles reload, etc.) Sure on Unix I've got /dev/null but it isn't portable. Allow me to not specify a destination and discard the output. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
