http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33464 Summary: Hidden Password user input, using either no echo or stars e.g. ******** Product: Ant Version: 1.5.4 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows 2000 Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: Core AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] User input for a Password during an installation is visible using the InputRequest class. Can this be enhanced to allow either no echo or stars e.g. ******** instead of the visible string. Our Java code segment currently looks like this: InputRequest request = null; if (validargs != null) { Vector accept = StringUtils.split(validargs, ','); request = new MultipleChoiceInputRequest(message, accept); } else { request = new InputRequest(message); } getProject().getInputHandler().handleInput(request); Many thanks, Andrew -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
