http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33274 Summary: refid is mentioned in examples but is not formally documented Product: Ant Version: 1.6.2 Platform: Sun URL: http://ant.apache.org/manual/using.html#references OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: Documentation AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The http://ant.apache.org/manual/using.html#references section describes id: "The id attribute of the buildfile's elements can be used to refer to them." It should also describe refid. Because this description is missing, a search only finds "refid" in examples, so its meaning can only be inferred. What refid means has been a source of confusion, and it's frustrating not to be able to easily find a description of it. (I was mistakenly assigning a property to it.) Also, it would help if "id" and "refid" were more set off more prominently (in a table or heading or bold), but it appears your format perhaps doesn't allow for that? -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
