Ever since I learned about sets I learned that you can create sets from the union and intersection of other sets. So when you call something a "set" you create such an expectation. And the semantics I've described seem to meet all the semantics of the *existing* fileset. No need to create a new type. So I also don't see why we have to get back to the Virtual FS debates.
