http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32718 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-12-16 22:27 ------- Well I believe that a patch like that in #8031 would solve this bug, so I guess it could be a duplicate. Reporter would need to assist in confirming, since in my experience the behavior of non-ASCII characters in filenames on Windows w/ Java apps is so sensitive to your machine's configuration and choice of tools that it would be difficult for someone else to reproduce the problem exactly. (By contrast, a Java app running on a modern Linux box with *.UTF-8 locale seems to handle any characters with no problems.) Re. JDK version - of course #8031 would only help on JDK 1.4+, but (IMHO) tough luck - get a JDK which is not end-of-lifed, or stick to "ueber" orthography. :-) -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
