http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32487 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-12-03 19:10 ------- Is it not possible to apply case-insensitivity and slash fixes for non-URLs and for file:// URLs only under win32? I don't think this will break backwards compatibility. As for win32 allowing case-sensitivity, I don't think anyone has ever heard of or used this feature and if they have we can detect it at runtime and not apply case-insensitivity. We should concern ourselves with making Ant work on the most-frequently used configuration and fine tune specific varients later. Sorry but I am against adding attributes if they can be avoided altogether. We know what the ideal behavior of Ant should be. Let's just work at it incrementally, one case at a time. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
