I think this happens because the Xalan Redirect extensions we use to create the
output .txt files in the frames report (this is what you are talking about, 
isn't
it?) used the same method that is declared at the stylesheet level, i.e. it 
thinks
it is writing HTML.

Does anybody know whether it is possible to change the output method to text on 
redirect:write - the docs at the Xalan site lead me to think it won't work.
