RegexpPatternMapper doesnot seem to work properly for cygwin. The problem is due to the backslash character. To make it work in cygwin, we had to make some changes in the source. The updated source file is attached.
If you feel that this would be helpful for everybody, please commit the change in cvs.
the patch seems to have been filtered out. Can you attach it to a new/existing bugrep.
We also need unit tests that demonstrate the problem on cygwin, so we can be sure that the patch eliminates it, and that the patch doesnt break any other platform.
