Hallo ANT-developers, (Hallo Stefan, thanks so much for your answer and hints)
I was missing a feature in the copy task that warns me (a) if a token could not be given a value and/or (b) if a value file contains token values that are never used.
Therefore I have written a CheckTokens (extends Task) which we run before every deploy/compile.

Minor Errata #31271: In README.txt I am referring to a .tar.gz file by which I mean the attached .zip file. I chose zip to give Windows users a chance - even though they probably can unpack a tar.gz if cruising around in open source projects.
