tar task on Win2K incompatible with GNU tar 1.14 ?

Summary: tar task on Win2K incompatible with GNU tar 1.14 ?
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When I create a tar archive using the tar task on Win2K and then try to extract
the archive on Slackware 10.0 (GNU tar 1.14), I get some error messages "Blanks
in header where numeric time_t value expected" and for every archived directory:
"<dirname>: implausibly old time stamp 1969-12-31 23:59:59".
When I create the same tar archive using the tar task on Slackware 10.0, I get
no error messages.
